Been Busy

Well, I'm one to harrass others about not keeping up their blogs. Huh! Sorry! You're probably tired of looking at my bangs by now! haha Anyway, have been doing lots of crafting! I have started with making birthday cards for Dr. Mike's patients. I completed 23 female and 16 male cards for April! I would attach a picture but don't want to spoil the surprise for some who may be getting them, plus, I really didn't want to take a picture once I had packaged them all up. I gave them to Sue before our stamp club this evening.

I also signed up for a spring mini swap on splitcoaststampers. I need to make 21 card fronts with the Au Chocolat designer series paper. I decided to do a trifold card, and I have to say, I really like it even though the chocolate paper is not my favorite. So, swappers will recieve a full card and not just a front. That is what I'm currently working on. Next is more birthday cards for May and card fronts for swaps at regionals and the SCS dinner on April 27th. Marnia, my upline has said that she does 100-150 fronts to swap about 4 designs. We'll see what I might get done. I'm thinking these trifold cards for sure as they are super easy and really cute! As for anything else, not sure yet. I also said that I would donate a 3D item for the SCS dinner. See what I come up with there. So as you can all imagine, I'm spending a lot of time at my dining room table! I am spending some time with the boys too! lol

Tomorrow, Ryan is supposed to go on a field trip to Peach Creek to release a salmon that the class had hatched. They raised salmon right from scratch. It has now started to rain. I got Dave to take the afternoon off to take Ryan as the hike is quite muddy at this time and really not stroller friendly. If it rains a lot, they might just cancel the whole thing. I really hope not as Ryan is sooo looking forward to releasing his salmon! Apparently there are only 3 release sites. They wouldn't want our Canadian Coho to go to the USA. Anyway, put the no rain vibe out there for Ryan!

I'm hitting the hay!
